2. What we collect

Information you give us

When you use our contact form we collect your name, email address, company name and your message. When you use the submit-a-project form we also collect your country and industry, the equipment type, and the technical details you choose to give us, such as process medium, concentration, operating temperature, design pressure, dimensions, required standard and target delivery date. When you email us we receive whatever you include in the message and its attachments, such as drawings and specifications.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, the site records technical data about visits, such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed and the referring site, through our hosting provider and website analytics. Our forms use a spam-protection service that checks whether a submission comes from a person. Cookies are used for site functions and analytics; you can block or delete them in your browser settings.

We do not ask for payment details on this site, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

3. How we use it

We use your information to:

• reply to your enquiry and prepare a technical proposal and quotation;
• design, fabricate, inspect and deliver an order you place with us;
• keep a record of our correspondence with you;
• protect the site and its forms against spam and abuse; and
• understand how the site is used so that we can improve it.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for any purpose unrelated to your enquiry or order.

4. Who sees it

Your enquiry is read by the Crimar team handling it. That team may include our engineering and production staff in the United States and Mexico and our sister company in China, Shijiazhuang Beman Commercial Co., Ltd. (SBCCO-China), where its procurement or inspection support is needed. Where it is necessary to prepare a quotation or carry out an order, we share the technical details, not your contact details, with the factory or inspection body involved.

The site and our email run on third-party services, which process data on our behalf: website hosting, email delivery, spam protection for form submissions and website analytics. Some of these providers are located outside your country.

We will disclose information where the law requires it.

5. Your rights

You may ask us at any time to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to stop using it for a particular purpose. Write to zishzhao@crimar.com and we will reply within 15 working days. These rights apply wherever you are, including under the personal-data laws of Mexico, Chile, Peru and other countries where our customers are located.

We keep enquiry and order records for as long as needed to serve you and to meet our accounting and legal obligations, and then delete them.

6. Security and changes

The site is served over an encrypted connection, and access to enquiries and email is limited to the people who need it. No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
